Our client is an established, reputable estate and probate law firm that is committed to guiding individuals and families through some of life's most important legal matters with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. As their firm continues to grow, they are seeking a dependable and personable Legal Assistant to be the first point of contact for their clients. The Legal Assistant will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere in our office.
You will manage front desk responsibilities, support daily administrative operations, and ensure seamless communication between clients, attorneys, and staff.
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to basic inquiries
- Schedule and confirm client appointments using legal practice management software
- Manage mail, deliveries, and correspondence
- Maintain the tidiness of the reception area and conference rooms
- Assist with client intake and documentation as needed
- Provide administrative support to legal staff (copying, scanning, filing, etc.)
- Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times
- Three to five years of previous experience as a receptionist or in a client-facing administrative role; one year legal office experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment
- Familiarity with legal terminology, especially estate and probate law, is a plus
Hours:
9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Location:
Clearwater, FL 33756 (onsite only)
