Starting Annual Salary: $37,575.60 Annually

This position involves specialized clerical support, split between the Court’s Staff Psychologist and the Behavioral Evaluation Program. The employee in this role provides a wide range of administrative and office support services for the Court Staff Psychologist, including filing psychological reports, preparing correspondence, logging referrals, scheduling and tracking court dates, preparing standard court documents, and maintaining case files and related data.

The role requires frequent interaction with attorneys, judges, and external agencies to coordinate activities and relay information accurately. In addition, the employee provides clerical support to the Behavioral Evaluation Program, which may include data entry and management, answering phone calls, scheduling evaluations, typing reports, and performing other tasks related to file organization and recordkeeping.

Education, Experience, Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations
  • Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certificate with one year of college or vocational school education, and/or related experience in office skills, computer operation, or closely related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and data entry.
  • One year of Clerical/administrative experience.
  • Familiarity with medical/psychological terminology is preferred.

  • Efficiently manage tasks, maintain accurate records, and produce documentation.
  • Maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor when interacting with the public, court personnel, and clients.
  • Remain composed and responsive when assisting clients in challenging or high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, work independently under pressure, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Consistently reliable in meeting deadlines and fulfilling responsibilities.
