We’re seeking an experienced L&D RN for primarily night shifts in Clearlake, California
. This role is ideal for nurses with strong labor, delivery, and postpartum experience who are comfortable supporting occasional day shift coverage.
Shift: Primarily Nights, 1800 – 0630 (some day coverage as needed)
Hours: 36 hours/week
Location: Clearlake, CA
Experience: 3–4 years in labor and delivery
Requirements- Registered Nurse (RN) License – California – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- ACLS Certification – Preferred
- NRP Certification – Required
- STABLE Certification – Preferred
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification – Must obtain within 6 months; recertify every 2 years
- Comfortable with postpartum care
- Nursery experience (any level) appreciated
- Familiarity with hospital crash cart, patient monitoring, and emergency protocols
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in labor, delivery, and postpartum units
- Monitor fetal and maternal status using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Assist with deliveries and perform postpartum assessments
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Respond to emergencies per hospital policies and protocols
- Support team coverage on occasional day shifts as needed
