The primary purpose of this position is:
To install, maintain, repair and modify large/complex heating (includes heating boilers and single and multiple fuel power boilers), ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HV AC/R) systems and support equipment including mechanical system controls and distribution lines.

• This position may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license may be required for the position.
• This position requires CFC/NCFC Certification (universal) as required by 40 CFR Part 82, Subpart
  
  F., EPA.
• Recall to duty may be a requirement of this position.
• This position requires the ability to discern colors, contrast, and depth.
• This position will be required to train/guide lower graded (or other trades) military/civilian employees.
• Selectee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and shift work and emergency overtime may be required.
• This position may require Flight line driving/testing and selectee may be required to participate in mobility exercises.
• Selectee may be required to serve a probationary or trail period.
• Selectee must obtain and maintain a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
• This position may require occasional work travel away from the normal duty station.
• Employee may be required to travel on military or commercial aircraft.
• Selectee will be required to work in emergency situations.
