Position Overview:
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to support the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role within a 24/7 operational environment. Candidates must be flexible and available for rotating shifts based on mission priorities. This position plays a critical role in supporting key DoD missions and their associated networks.
This position requires an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation and research.
- Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, error/alarm analysis, and other troubleshooting methods.
- Monitor network performance using specialized tools; escalate issues as needed.
- Create and maintain incident tickets using Remedy.
- Provide real-time troubleshooting across a global network infrastructure.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Practical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).
- Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret.
- Salary range: $55,000 – $65,500, based on experience.
