Job Description

Wage: $26.01 per hour

Schedule:

Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday

You’ll be responsible for providing students with individual career transition services in compliance with government and management directives.

• Develop a career transition plan for assigned students and monitor the progress of assigned students.
• Assist assigned students with individual career selection and assess student workplace readiness; provide labor market information on geographic areas of interest. Provide referral or post separation services as needed.
• Coordinate and maintain communication with other departments pertaining to student career transition.
• Teach a class to students the skills and knowledge to create a resume and cover letter, develop professionalism, understand employability, practice financial literacy, work with others, and learn to interview for jobs.
• Work with a team of staff supporting students transitioning from job career development to job placement. Understand the value of creating community within a classroom and engage students in discourse when learning.

• Bachelor’s degree in human service, psychology, counseling, or closely related field or
• Associate degree and two (2) years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
