Schedule: Full-time, 4/10 hour shifts, Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am
-6:00 pm
Starting Salary: $20.19 per hour
Location: 22 South State Street, Suite 1007, Clearfield, UT 84015

Join us at Midtown Community Health Center as our Dental Assistant, where your methodical approach ensures each patient visit runs smoothly and safely from start to finish.
Assists dentists in providing quality care by collecting accurate information. Assists dentist with patient treatment. Maintains a clean operating field during procedures and operations. Maintains dental instruments and treatment rooms. Exposes, processes and mounts dental radiographs.
Responsibilities- Manages patient flow. Acts as liaison between patient service representative and dentist
- Assists dentist with patient treatment
- Receives patient, examines dental record and prepares patient for treatment
- Manages emergency situations
- Maintains a safe environment by practicing sound safety and infection control practices according to policies and procedures
- Cleans, sterilizes, lubricates, sharpens and makes minor adjustments to dental instruments according to infection control guidelines
- Ensures that rooms and equipment are clean and sterilized
- Prepares materials for making impressions and restoring teeth
- Records data in individual dental record indicating oral cavity condition and treatment accomplished
- Documents patients visits in accordance with Midtown charting protocols
- Applies anti carries agents and materials
- Exposes, processes, and mounts dental radiographs
- Assists in the training for students and new employees
- Other duties as assigned
CPR certification, State Radiological Certification required. Dental Assistant training from a certified dental assisting program preferred. 1-year dental assistant experience with excellent customer service skills preferred. May substitute experience for training.
Other SkillsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and written in English and Spanish. Relates well with others in a team-based environment. Works quickly and accurately under pressure, and has excellent customer service skills. Ability to learn computer skills as required.
