Job Summary

Relief Pharmacist at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Clear Lake, Iowa. This 100% employee‑owned mid‑size chain is patient‑focused, technology‑enabled, and committed to improving health outcomes in rural Midwest communities.

• Provide excellent customer service, building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and Healthy Pack Rx , assisting patients with enrollment.
• Lead the team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
• Structure and organize workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services.
• Develop and follow up on long‑term care (LTC) business, communicating with nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
• Identify LTC and specialty business opportunities and communicate them with the marketing team.
• Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.

• Pharmacy license, or ability to obtain one without federal sanctions.

• Current Immunization Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• NPI Number.

Long periods of standing, frequent use of hands and fingers, occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to focus.
