Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine NC

Required Skills:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in North Carolina
  • Proven experience in general medicine or primary care settings
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to perform physical examinations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient assessments efficiently
  • Effective documentation and report submission capabilities
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with veteran healthcare or military-related assessments
  • Familiarity with compensation and pension evaluations
  • Certification in advanced practice nursing or relevant specialties
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish-language proficiency
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner in general medicine or related fields
  • Experience conducting assessments for veterans or in government healthcare programs is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
  • Must have own fully equipped office space within the designated geographic areas
  • Ability to conduct interviews and physical exams, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
  • Willingness to adhere to the established rate structure and complete all required administrative documentation
  • Availability to work on a PRN basis, including weekdays and occasional weekends, with flexibility for half-day or full-day shifts.

Hourly Pay Rate: $402.00
