Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine NC

Required Skills:

Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in North Carolina
Proven experience in general medicine or primary care settings
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to perform physical examinations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient assessments efficiently
Effective documentation and report submission capabilities

Nice to Have Skills:

Prior experience with veteran healthcare or military-related assessments
Familiarity with compensation and pension evaluations
Certification in advanced practice nursing or relevant specialties
Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish-language proficiency

Preferred Education and Experience:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner in general medicine or related fields
Experience conducting assessments for veterans or in government healthcare programs is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

Must have own fully equipped office space within the designated geographic areas
Ability to conduct interviews and physical exams, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
Willingness to adhere to the established rate structure and complete all required administrative documentation
Availability to work on a PRN basis, including weekdays and occasional weekends, with flexibility for half-day or full-day shifts.
