Metrology Technician; Onsite

Piper Companies is seeking a Metrology Technician to perform calibration and maintenance of critical instrumentation within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The Metrology Technician role is ideal for a skilled professional with experience in calibrating process and utility instruments and ensuring compliance in a regulated setting.
The Metrology Technician role is a 12 month contract with potential to convert permanent and requires you to sit on site in Clayton, NC.

• Calibrate and repair instruments for temperature, pressure, conductivity, humidity, pH, TOC, flow, and mass.
• Execute scheduled calibrations per corporate and local standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; support cross-functional investigations.
• Accurately document work and maintain calibration records.
• Operate calibration standards and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

• Associate’s degree in engineering/science OR High School Diploma with 6+ years of metrology experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharma calibration experience; 5 years preferred.
• Hands-on experience calibrating temp, pH, TOC, conductivity, humidity, and pressure instruments.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar calibration management systems (Blue Mountain RAM, Pro Cal, MAXIMO).
• Ability to read schematics and technical documents; strong troubleshooting skills.

• Prior military maintenance/calibration experience.
• Greenfield project experience.
• SAP expertise (all work performed via SAP).

• $30.00-$45.00
