Pay Rate
: $46.25 – 49.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
The Supply Chain Planning Engineer will develop proactive, data-driven strategies to align supplier capacity with production demand. This role is responsible for leading capacity management, supporting strategic sourcing decisions, and strengthening end-to-end supply chain stability. The engineer will collaborate closely with procurement teams, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to anticipate risks, improve performance, and build resilient supply networks.
Responsibilities- Lead identification and implementation of integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships to support long-term operational stability.
- Align demand and supplier capacity through collaboration with purchasing teams, suppliers, and functional partners.
- Apply industry benchmarks and scenario modeling to optimize supplier capabilities and support sourcing decisions.
- Analyze supply chain data to prioritize improvement opportunities and enhance inventory utilization.
- Provide expert support in capacity planning tools including RCCP, NPE demand analysis, and collaboration platforms.
- Lead supplier performance routines, including monthly reviews, structured problem solving, and RCCA for capacity-related challenges.
- Investigate and incorporate industry best practices to develop efficient supply chains for assigned product sets.
- Experience:
3+ years of professional experience (internship experience accepted toward total). - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. - Comparable background from other roles:
