Job Responsibilities- Serve as an engineer on the Work Tools Hydraulic Systems Team, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust hydraulic component solutions for all work tools within the Building Construction product families.
- Build and maintain strong technical expertise across a broad range of hydraulic components used in mobile construction equipment applications.
- Work closely with hydraulic component suppliers to gain a thorough understanding of component design, manufacturing processes, performance characteristics, and intended applications.
- Design and develop new hydraulic systems and component solutions to support both current and next-generation mobile equipment platforms.
- Lead the detailing, verification, and release of engineering drawings and documentation for assigned hydraulic components.
- Research, evaluate, and apply emerging technologies to improve product performance, reliability, durability, and cost effectiveness.
- Utilize innovative and original engineering approaches to drive design optimization, cost reduction, and resolution of complex technical challenges.
- Promote a strong culture of quality, continuous improvement, and compliance with established engineering standards and best practices.
- Continuously expand technical knowledge of products, technologies, processes, services, and systems relevant to hydraulic system applications.
- Effectively plan, organize, and prioritize multiple work assignments to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
- 5-7 Years of experience in mobile hydraulics
- Bachelors Degree in engineering or equivalent experience in earth moving hydraulic development.
- Understanding of the mobile hydraulics used on earthmoving machinery
- Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to have multiple projects in flight and prioritize work effectively
- Microsoft Office tools experience
- Hydraulic analysis tool experience
