Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical and instrumentation engineering activities across capital projects, managing assigned scope, schedule, and cost
  • Design and review low‑voltage power distribution, motor control systems, single‑line diagrams, and control schematics
  • Specify, select, and size instrumentation, control hardware, and electrical components in alignment with P&IDs and site standards
  • Develop equipment specifications, bid packages, vendor evaluations, and support factory acceptance testing
  • Provide on‑site construction support, contractor coordination, technical clarification, and field supervision
  • Execute equipment startup, commissioning protocols, documentation turnover, and ensure compliance with regulated manufacturing requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • 5+ years (Staff level) or 8+ years (Principal level) of relevant engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Strong working knowledge of low‑voltage electrical systems, motor control, instrumentation, and NFPA 70 requirements
  • Experience supporting capital projects through design, construction, startup, and commissioning phases
  • Familiarity with GMP/GxP environments, including change control, validation, and quality oversight
  • Professional Engineer license preferred; ability to support occasional international travel
