Pre-K Teacher – Thales Academy

Thales Academy Flowers Plantation is accepting applications for a Pre-K Teacher for the  school year. This is a part-time position, from 7:15 am‑1 pm, Mon‑Fri, following a year‑round academic schedule.

• Implementing the approved curriculum, providing proper pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments for assigned courses.
• Working closely with teammates to develop teaching skills.
• Participating in productive discussions, team planning meetings, and sharing curriculum and instructional expertise.
• Engaging in offered professional development opportunities.
• Acting in a professional manner in verbal and nonverbal communications while following established guidelines.
• Promoting communication between parents, community members, and teammates, and working to establish and maintain home‑school connections.
• Assisting in providing opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school.

• High energy and organized with a passion for teaching children.
• Direct Instruction or other teaching experience preferred but not required.

Salaries are determined by experience and qualifications.
