Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a busy legal team in a fully on‑site role that offers excellent benefits, including extensive paid time off. This position supports attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case initiation through trial. The paralegal will be responsible for drafting pleadings, correspondence, authorizations, interrogatories, transmittal letters, and related legal documents; filing summonses and complaints;
and coordinating with vendors to complete service. Additional responsibilities include preparing and responding to discovery requests, scheduling and organizing depositions, maintaining and monitoring client files and calendars, and providing consistent status updates to attorneys. The role also involves conducting detailed internal and online legal research, with particular focus on court rules and procedures, as well as assisting with comprehensive trial preparation such as assembling trial binders, managing exhibits, and communicating with experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment with time‑sensitive deadlines and demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, strong computer proficiency, and solid procedural knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze issues and problem‑solve effectively. This role requires someone who can work independently while also collaborating with attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and legal assistants to support a cohesive litigation team.
Candidates with 3-5 years of experience
, particularly in product liability or plaintiff asbestos litigation
, will be given strong preference. A paralegal degree or certificate is preferred but not required for consideration.
