Informatica ETL Developer With SQL (SSIS) Experience is Must

Reports to IT Manager, Business Intelligence (Financial Analytic Solutions)

• Analyze, design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf applications or custom built technology solutions to meet business needs.
• Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements.
• Meet with business partners to understand business needs.
• Responsible for overall design of the solution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers.

• The position is aligned with our Finance business partners and is to support their key projects:
  • Remittance/eligibility/revenue reconciliation
  • Health benefit ratio (medical loss ratio) calculations
• Partner with IT lead and business owners to:
  • Effectively communicate development status in daily standups
  • Define technical requirements
  • Provide accurate level of effort estimates
  • Define scope of sprints
  • Define testing requirements
• Teradata/SQL Server development including:
  • Table/view creation
  • Macro creation/maintenance
  • Stored procedure creation/maintenance
  • Analyzing data and queries to collect relevant statistics and create applicable indexes, or for production issues
  • Performance tuning of queries for better performance
  • Partner with DBA as needed
• Informatica/ SSIS:
  • Maintain existing Solutions and Packages
  • Develop new solutions and packages connecting to disparate data sources
  • Develop portable production ready packages

• 3+ years of experience analyzing, designing, and building Teradata ETL solutions
• Strong experience with SQL on Teradata and/or SQL server
• Experience with Information and/or SSIS ETL tools
• Understanding of database design and modeling
• Teradata Certified Professional preferred
• Healthcare or Finance experience a plus
