Responsibilities
  • Performs research & analysis and manages investment options
  • Assists with the preparation of materials for periodic client meetings, which includes creating and/or updating reports such as cash flows, financial statements, and asset allocations summaries for clients with a higher degree of difficulty
  • Drafts financial projections and calculations
  • Analyzes investment performance, research investment options and provide recommendations
  • Reviews and tracks client account applications, transfers and directives
  • Assists advisors with various special projects and requests
  • Provides information and makes recommendations on advisory service products, investment selections, sustainability guidelines and reporting decisions
  • Assists with training and developing mid-level and junior analysts
  • Continues to expand knowledge of comprehensive wealth management including Financial Planning, Tax Planning, Asset Management, Risk Management and Estate Planning
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required, accounting and/or finance or business with an emphasis on accounting/finance preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in the financial industry in a similar analyst role
  • Obtained or willing to obtain financial certification, such as: CFP or CFA
  • Willingness to participate in a Parkside Committee
  • Motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team
  • Eager to learn new skills in a variety of financial planning areas using multiple software applications
  • Strong work ethic
  • Service oriented
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to company’s financial growth and profitability
