Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join the Finerty Team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong foundation in finance or economics and a desire to grow within a dynamic investment environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct investment research and analysis to support client portfolio decisions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and performance summaries using Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, and Excel.
- Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor market trends.
- Maintain and update financial models, tracking systems, and investment documentation.
- Assist with client portfolio reviews and proposals.
- Perform due diligence on investment products and third-party managers.
- Monitor macroeconomic indicators and assess their impact on investment strategy.
- Draft internal memos and summaries for investment committee discussions.
- Coordinate with compliance and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Draft and execute trades and banking transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis or financial services.
- The FINRA Series 65 license is required.
- A CFA designation or active progress toward achieving the CFA designation is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Power
BI. Familiarity with Morningstar Direct and Bloomberg Terminal is a plus. - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
