Overview

Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds, and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

As a Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst, you will serve as a critical guardian of Equifax's revenue integrity, specifically focusing on our high-growth Government and Workforce Solutions verticals. Reporting to the Revenue Assurance Manager, you will elevate our billing operations from transactional processing to strategic revenue management. You will act as a bridge between Fulfillment, Sales, and Finance, ensuring that complex upstream data is accurately consumed, processed, and billed.

This is a visible role where you will identify revenue leakage, automate manual controls, and lead billing integrations for new acquisitions.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, or from our office in St. Louis, MO. (This is not a fully-remote role). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

What You’ll Do:
  • Revenue Stewardship:
Monitor and analyze complex revenue streams to identify discrepancies, focusing on the prevention of revenue leakage through the design and enforcement of robust internal controls.

  • Government Vertical Leadership:
Serve as the primary escalation point for the Government vertical, managing high-complexity billing issues, historical reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with specific GSA/State requirements.

  • Process Innovation:
Propose and implement scalable process improvements to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the billing lifecycle; drive automation of manual billing functions to reduce error and increase efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: collaborate with Finance, Sales, Fulfillment, and IT to resolve systemic revenue issues; ensure upstream data is received and processed according to customer contracts.

  • System & Data Integrity:
Demonstrate deep understanding of fulfillment and billing systems to identify potential issues before they impact the customer; manage acquisition migrations to integrate new billing processes into the Global Billing Operations platform.

  • Operational Leadership:
Manage essential operations supporting revenue assurance; proactively assess skills required for variance positions and potentially provide functional leadership to a small team of analysts.

What Experience You Need:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Billing Operations, Customer Experience, or Financial Analysis, preferably within the Financial Services, Fin Tech, SaaS, or highly regulated industries.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

  • Data Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and experience analyzing large datasets to detect anomalies.

  • Systems Knowledge:
Solid understanding of enterprise financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and billing platforms.

  • Operational Grip:
Proven experience reconciling historical accounting data and resolving complex, escalated billing disputes.

What Could Set You Apart:
  • Experience working with Government contracts (federal/state) or within the mortgage/lending data sector.

  • Previous tenure at a large, publicly-traded financial institution (e.g., Citigroup, Wells Fargo) or major Technology/SaaS organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to use data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire) or query languages (SQL) to drive insights.

  • Experience with Salesforce would be a plus

  • A "Leading" mindset:
The ability to mentor junior team members and drive change without direct authority.

  • Experience leading billing integration projects during M&A activities.
