The Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and maintaining all equipment as directed by company policies, procedures, and manuals.

• Operate front‑end loader to lift and transport bulk materials, feed conveyors, hoppers, and load trucks or railcars.
• Start engine, shift gears, press pedals, and steer loader.
• Lower and tilt bucket to load bulk materials; lift and tilt bucket to unload.
• Verify aggregate quantity in storage bins and fill hoppers to maintain material quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on loaders: lubricate, fuel, and clean.
• Ensure raw material meets established quality and quantity standards.
• Meet or exceed company performance indicators and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement of plant operations and surroundings.
• Follow state, federal, and local regulations; maintain compliance.
• Assist in minor maintenance and visual plant/equipment evaluations.
• Communicate with plant leadership to resolve issues and recommend solutions.
• Haul cement and/or additives from storage in bulk or bags.
• Adhere to CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules; wear proper safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Read, write, and speak English; bilingual a plus.

• Exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise; work outdoors.
• Must wear protective equipment.

• Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing.
• Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
• Sitting most of the time; brief periods of walking or standing.
• Requires clear verbal communication in proximity to heavy equipment.
• Must be able to push, turn, and pull controls.

Expected base compensation ranges from $46.98 to $51.45 per hour, depending on market location, job‑related knowledge, skill sets, experience, and education.
