Overview
CVES in Clarksville, TN is looking to add a meticulous and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to oversee all aspects of anesthetic and sedated procedures on our Surgery Team.
CompensationCompensation: $22-29/hr, based on experience and pending skills level assessment.
ScheduleSchedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week, with participation in a rotating on-call schedule.
Training:
Completion of anesthesia training through CVES and passing of both written and practical exams will be required.

You are an experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. Requirementsfor the Role
- Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician, preferably in Specialty, Emergency, or Critical Care medicine. LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required.
- Have an in depth understanding of all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc.
- Advanced skill set includes experience monitoring anesthesia and managing patients for a variety of abdominal, thoracic, orthopedic, and minimally invasive procedures, surgical prepping and positioning, knowledge of common surgical instruments and their uses, and experience calculating and administering CRI medications appropriately.
- Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
