About the Role
Be the one who kicks off the race! As a Go-Kart Racing Guide, you’ll help guests strap in, learn the rules of the track, and experience the rush of racing like pros — all while ensuring safety and fun go hand-in-hand.
Responsibilities- Greet racers and share the rules of the road in a way that builds excitement
- Help guests with helmets, seatbelts, and race readiness
- Monitor races for safety while keeping the thrill alive
- High energy and a love of fast-paced fun
- Strong communication and safety awareness
- Ability to stay focused under pressure
You’ll fuel the excitement of competition, create laughter at the finish line, and send every driver home with a victory story.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and engage participants.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and first aid.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in customer service or entertainment roles.
- Previous experience with laser tag or similar recreational activities.
- Certification in first aid and CPR.
- Ability to lead groups and manage team dynamics.
- Familiarity with electronic game equipment and troubleshooting.
Effective communication skills are essential for clearly explaining game rules and safety instructions to diverse groups, ensuring that all participants understand and enjoy the experience. Physical stamina and attentiveness are essential for managing the dynamic environment and responding quickly to any safety concerns. Customer service skills help in creating a welcoming atmosphere and resolving any guest issues promptly and professionally. Preferred skills such as first aid certification and experience with electronic equipment enhance your ability to maintain a safe environment and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
