Position Overview
CNA’s needed at an exciting and fast-paced nursing facility in Clarksville, TN. Tennessee State Veterans’ Home is a long-term care and skilled nursing facility dedicated to caring for Tennessee veterans and their families. Consistently ranked in the top 3% for quality care according to CMS, Tennessee State Veterans’ Home has been a leader in Nursing Home care for over 25 years.
We are currently looking for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) who will work closely with licensed Nurses and other team members to meet the needs of our residents and to ensure high quality care is maintained. The CNA will work with assigned residents to administer to their personal needs: bathing, feeding, daily hygiene, toileting, lifting, turning, and repositioning. Both full-time and PRN opportunities are available.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must have a current & active Nursing Certification. Must be a caring individual who is willing to assist in any way possible to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. Individual must be able to work independently and make decisions when circumstances warrant to meet the needs of residents and be flexible in work habits to meet the needs of residents or nursing staff.
Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, and visitors. Must be able to read and understand standard English and be willing to work as part of a caring team to provide the best possible care for our residents.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Current and active Nurse Aide Certification.
OPEN POSITIONS
- Certified Nurse Aide Full or Part Time: 7:00 AM- 7:00 PM with every other weekend
- Certified Nurse Aide Full or Part Time: 7:00 PM- 7:00 AM with every other weekend
