Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Day Shift Med/Surg position requiring 1+ year of recent specialty experience and a valid TN or compact RN license.

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit on floor 1
• Patient population consists of adult medical-surgical patients
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsibilities include providing care to a diverse adult Med/Surg population
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration
• This position does not accept candidates with Canadian SIN in place of SSN

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• No lapses in work history equal to or greater than 90 days within the past 12 months
• Driver’s license required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Applicants who have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
• No local travelers; must live outside a 50-mile radius
