We are currently looking for Finishing Helpers to join our team.

Shift Days, 6am - 6pm, 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Shift Nights, 6pm – 6am, 2-2-3 rotating schedule

• Compensation: $16.00 hourly, and a $1.00/per hour shift differential for night shift.
• Sign-on Bonus - up to $1,000
• Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)
• Paid Holidays:
  New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Uses a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to avoid damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam related defects.
• Records and enters data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

• Quality conscious and customer focused
• Self-directed with strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn company software
• Numeric proficiency for label counts and conversions
• Ability to work with units of American money and weights/volumes/distances
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
• Experience or knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred
• Physical demands include standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear; frequent walking
• Occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Continuous eye concentration
