Overview
Assistant Store Manager - Night Operations at The Home Depot. Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) will gain hands-on experience in the key responsibilities and functions of a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager. The NOASM-IT training program includes hands-on experience, mentorship, and leadership development. During training, NOASMs in Training will become familiar with Manager on Duty duties and focus on overseeing overnight freight operations to ensure the successful execution of core freight handling programs.
They will collaborate with Night Replenishment Managers (NRMs) to manage unload, pack out, and pack down. They will work with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Managers (ASMs), and field teams to develop and implement strategies that boost sales and profitability, creating actionable game plans for departmental success, and ensuring smooth department operations. NOASM-ITs are expected to lead by example and uphold all company policies and positions.
During the training period (up to 6 weeks), you will learn to execute OASM key responsibilities.

Experience:
Supervising associates in selling efforts, modeling GET culture, driving customer service and associate engagement, resolving customer concerns promptly - 15% - Operations Management:
Open/Close MOD and other store-wide responsibilities; enforce company policies and procedures; manage SOPs with emphasis on safety compliance; maintain process accuracy and mitigate shrink - 15% - Safety:
Ensure self and associates follow all safety and hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines - 10% - Sales and Productivity:
Plan merchandise placement, signing, and stock integrity through inventory management; learn store equipment and systems; manage daily financial operations - 50% - Training and Preparing for Assistant Manager Position:
Participate in a structured training program covering operations, customer service, sales & profitability, and company policies; develop skills in staffing and scheduling, stock deficiency resolution, supervising selling behaviors, handling customer issues, and supporting service needs; learn performance management and disciplinary processes; complete all training modules and assessments

- Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time
- Intermittent physical exertion: walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment (some heavy or awkward)
- Indoor environment; conditions could cause mild discomfort on occasion
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
