Mental Health, Psychology
Bonafide (adj.): genuine. real. made in good faith.
That definition is intentional because it’s the same standard this practice was built on and the same standard we're looking for in clinicians.
Bonafide Therapeutic Alliance, LLC is a combat‑veteran‑owned, clinician‑led practice focused on doing good work and building something sustainable together, but independently.
Curious about private practice but not ready or interested in doing it in isolation or with a practice misclassifying your work?
Bonafide Therapeutic Alliance, LLC is opening a limited number 1099 clinician opportunities for fully licensed clinicians, especially those looking for a side hustle or a thoughtful first step into private practice built around professional autonomy, collegial relationships, and shared growth.
This is not a platform and it’s not an employer‑employee setup.
What you can expect:- No minimum caseload requirements - take on what fits your life
- Tiered fee split - designed to support growth
- No non‑compete clause - your career and client relationships remain yours
- Reduced administrative burden - fewer systems to manage on your own
- Collegial practice culture - peer‑to‑peer relationships, not top‑down management
While there is no formal or required consultation structure, many clinicians value the natural collaboration, shared perspective, and professional camaraderie that comes from practicing alongside other independent clinicians without supervision, micromanagement, or quotas.
Clinicians operate as independent contractors, with autonomy in their clinical work and no required or formal consultation structure.
This is a good fit if you:- Want independence and connection
- Prefer clinician‑to‑clinician relationships over corporate hierarchy
- Are exploring private practice without pressure to “scale fast”
- Value transparency, ethics, and sustainability
As a solo practice it was built from startup to full capacity in under six months by operating deliberately: with intention, bonafide specialized credibility, and community focus.
The current clinical focus is men’s mental health and Veteran issues, and that work would be deeply complemented by clinicians who are grounded, fully‑licensed, and aligned with values over volume - specialized (or looking to specialize) in:
- Couples work
- Autonomy without chaos
- Structure without micromanagement
- Billing and admin handled cleanly
- A practice that operates in good faith with both clients and clinicians
If this describes how you operate and what you look for in a practice, this might be a good fit to explore.
