Position Summary:

As a Clinical Assistant at KCA, you?ll perform both clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced outpatient medical setting. You?ll gain deep exposure to the patient care process, medical documentation, and provider interaction ? all while building the foundation for your future healthcare career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients
• Room patients, obtain vitals and history, reconcile medications
• Draft prescriptions for review/signature by provider
• Schedule follow-ups, imaging, referrals, and consultations
• Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR)
• Answer phones, manage voicemails, direct messages to staff
• Handle office tasks: scanning, e-faxing, organizing records and supplies
• Help keep clinic flow efficient and ensure a positive patient experience
• Be flexible and cross-trained to assist where needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor?s degree in a science-related field (required)
• Completion of a pre-employment assessment (sent only to candidates selected for interview)
• Commitment to full-time employment
• Highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
