Job Details

Responsibilities:

Lead the project development from feasibility to close-out in compliance with capital development standards.
Ensure site stakeholder engagement to ensure operational readiness and maintainability.
Establish and maintain project risk register and ensure required Hazop's.
Maintain and active project schedule and status
Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
Lead project review meetings during the course of a project with site and steerco.
Project deployment and a successful startup with continuous support, deploy inside project financials, achieve project timelines, comply or exceed quality targets encompassed in the project scope.

Qualifications:

Strong project management, problem solving and decision making skills and abilities, Lean Enterprise or Continuous Improvement background is a requirement.
Highly organized; capable of multitasking across multiple projects
Bachelor's Degree in engineering preferred. Other disciplines will be considered with proven experience in large project development and implementation..
5 to 10 years' experience in a related role
5 to 10 years' experience in heavy industry
Highly demonstrated ability in conceptual and practical planning skills
Strong working ability with MS Office (spreadsheets, project planners, charting etc)
Experience in SAP preferred
Proficient in AUTOCAD
