Are you passionate about operating state-of-the-art machinery and contributing to impactful construction projects? Byard Construction, LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator who will have the opportunity to operate a variety of the latest heavy equipment, doing so in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our mass excavation, utility, and paving projects.

We are looking for long-term candidates who are eager to grow with our company and take advantage of future advancement opportunities.

• Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, wheel loaders, haulers, skid-steers, sweepers, trenchers, and curb/asphalt-related equipment.
• Understand and interpret grades, elevations, sketches, and construction plans.
• Follow safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success.
• Work in various weather conditions and handle physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling over 50 lbs.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Drug-free and 18 years or older.
