At Thrive Early Learning Center, we are passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and joyful learning environment for young children. We partner with families to support each child’s growth, curiosity, and development through play-based education and responsive care.

We are seeking a enthusiastic, reliable, and caring Preschool Assistant Teacher to support our classroom team. The ideal candidate will work alongside the Lead Teacher to help implement engaging activities, supervise children, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing curriculum activities
• Supervise and engage with children ages 2–5 in daily routines, play, and learning
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Observe and assist in documenting children’s progress
• Communicate respectfully with children, families, and staff
• Ensure compliance with center policies and Tennessee licensing standards

• High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in childcare, preschool, or early education settings is a plus!

• Must meet required minimum age of 18 years
• Complete all required training as identified by Tennessee DHS Licensing
• Required health and safety certifications such as CPR/First Aid and Shaken Baby/Abusive Head Trauma training

• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Comply with health screenings/physical
• Provide 3 professional references
