About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Child Care Bus Driver to join our team at The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool in Clarksville, TN. As a bus driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of children to and from our facility. The current routes are 7:45 am to 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm.
Additional hours could be available if applicants would want to work in before & after school care classrooms as well. Also we have addiitional opportunities to drive for field trips.
- Transport children to and from the child care center and preschool in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children on the bus
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized bus
- Communicate effectively with staff and administration
- Valid CDL with passenger endorsement-F
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain prior to driving duties
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Experience working with children
- Friendly and patient demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and annual physical
- Complete pre-employment training and annual training requirements
