This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Strategic Technology Consultant based in Clarksville, IN, with some work‑from‑home flexibility. The consultant will serve as a strategic advisor to businesses, conducting IT consultations to align technology with business goals, performing technical analyses, and providing tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions. Responsibilities include offering technical support, implementing best practices, and ensuring that clients’ IT infrastructures are reliable, secure, and aligned with current and future needs.
Qualifications- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, account management, or business development
- Strong relationship‑building and consultative sales skills
- Ability to understand and communicate business technology solutions including:
- Managed IT Services
- Cybersecurity Solutions
- VoIP / Communications Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self‑motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Experience selling technology, IT services, SaaS, or professional services preferred
- Experience using CRM systems is a plus
- Enjoys building long‑term client relationships rather than transactional sales
- Can speak comfortably with business owners and executives
- Understands value‑based selling rather than price‑based selling
- Is entrepreneurial, driven, and comfortable operating with autonomy
- Wants uncapped earning potential tied to recurring revenue growth
- Contracted / 1099 Independent Consultant
- Commission‑based compensation with recurring revenue opportunities
- Residual commissions available on Managed Services agreements
- Performance incentives and bonus opportunities based on growth targets
- Flexible schedule with high earning potential tied directly to performance
