Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

You will support access control and visitor processes, document observations using a computer and/or tablet, and communicate clearly with team members and site staff. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies, completing security-related procedures, and participating in emergency response activities as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Control access by checking identification, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, managing sign-in and/or badge processes, and directing traffic flow at entrances as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including monitoring alarms, reporting hazards or suspicious activity, and requesting assistance when appropriate.

+ Complete routine documentation such as shift logs, patrol reports, and incident reports, and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal management.

* + Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

+ Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Loss Prevention is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
