RN - ICU

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care. The position requires an experienced RN willing to float to Med Surg Unit (MSU) as needed. Active Washington State RN license is required.

• Identify and address patient and significant others' needs for education, utilizing appropriate educational modalities.
• Ensure patient safety through preventative measures, including correct use of side rails and restraints as per policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe operation of all equipment in PCU/Telemetry/Med Surg areas.
• Implement infection control and isolation procedures, adhering to proper documentation practices.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses during assigned shifts.
• Accurately document physician orders and communicate effectively with oncoming staff during change of shift reports.
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, rooms, and general supplies as needed.

• Active RN license in Washington State.
• Experience in ICU/PCU nursing required.
