Sonographer - Evening Shift

Overview

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 4pm - Midnight. Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, the Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech performs medical sonograms, exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care.

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification, must be obtained within 1 year.
• Current American Heart Association s BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation period

• 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferred

• Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems
