Location: Clarkston, Georgia

Shift: All shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

Starting Rate: $37.83 per hour, plus benefits below.

3M is seeking Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician candidates to support production and auxiliary equipment in Clarkston, Georgia. This position offers an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military experience into a career with 3M.

• Perform all duties of a Maintenance Technician to keep production and auxiliary equipment operational.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues using blueprints, equipment manuals, and internet resources, applying skills in pneumatics, PLC, machinery, hydraulics, welding, and electrical.
• Participate in all required safety and regulatory training.
• Follow all plant safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Record labor time in maintenance work orders with detailed resolution notes.
• Take initiative to resolve issues with little daily instruction.

At a minimum:

• High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start).
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Skilled Technician.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed:

• Ability to work on CNC machining centers and supporting equipment.
• Excellent math skills, complex blueprint reading, and computer literacy.
• Certified in maintenance and repair of pneumatics, PLC, machinery, welding, and electrical.
