Childcare Center Cook

We are seeking a dependable and caring Cook to join our childcare center team at Lil' People's Place. This role plays a key part in supporting children’s health and development by providing nutritious, well-balanced meals each day.

• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks for children
• Follow state licensing requirements and nutrition guidelines
• Accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Complete food safety, temperature, and cleaning logs
• Order food and manage kitchen inventory
• Communicate with staff to ensure meals are served on schedule

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred (childcare or institutional experience a plus)
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Enjoys working in a child-centered environment
