Term of Position: 12 Months Full-time Exempt
Position Description (primary functions):
- Must possess at least a baccalaureate degree, be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), and hold a professional license or certificate as required by Mississippi.
- A minimum of four (4) years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two (2) years experience in clinical respiratory care.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility of keeping records of student attendance, performance, immunization, background check, drug screenings, and academic course work are complete as required by clinical affiliates.
- Makes reports to the Respiratory Care Program Director and Dean of Health Sciences.
- Supervises the making of the departmental clinical schedule to be approved and coordinated by the Respiratory Care Program Director and Dean of Health Sciences.
