Position Overview

This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing specialized program services. It involves providing program oversight, consultation on specific grant programs, and offering training, support, and enrichment to assigned clients and families.

Minimum Qualifications Education, Certification, and/or Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field such as psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or special education.
  • Valid WV driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • State criminal background check and federal check if applicable for regulated areas.
  • Experience
  • Completion of a practicum/internship during a 4-year degree program in the human services field OR one year of on-the-job supervision at Healthy Minds.
  • Preferred Qualifications Education, Certification, and/or Licensure
  • Master's degree (BA/BS/MA/MS) in a human service-related field such as psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or special education.
  • Experience
  • Two years of post-degree experience.
  • Core Duties and Responsibilities

    The following are general responsibilities; other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver programs specific to grant populations and disability groups.
  • Coordinate services for grant recipients according to scope of work, disability group, and treatment plans.
  • Coordinate programs with necessary staff supports to complete scope of work.
  • Develop and implement specialty programs, including all activities related to scope of work.
  • Participate in and complete training necessary for service delivery in support of the grant scope of work.
  • Train other program staff for cross-training and program implementation.
  • Implement appropriate interventions and document patient responses in medical records as appropriate.
  • Identify thought patterns and behaviors related to psychiatric diagnoses and developmental ages, intervening accordingly.
  • Transport and supervise patients to appointments and activities to implement grant scope of work.
  • Respond professionally to all calls, including Helpline calls.
  • Maintain confidentiality and conduct oneself professionally with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Complete and maintain documentation to meet data, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
  • Build collaborative relationships with community service providers.
  • Physical Requirements

    Requires strength and stamina, including lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and occasionally physical restraint of clients.

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.

    This position involves work with the First Episode Psychosis grant program and the Juvenile Remediation and Restoration grant.

    Scheduled weekly hours: 40
