General DutiesProvide oversight to meet Safety Goals, Quality requirements, Cost, Schedule, and design requirements.
Represent Day & Zimmermann in a professional manner, in appearance, conduct to employees or contractors and in business operations.
Attend safety meetings with Contractor
Daily reports
Weekly schedule meetings with contractor
Approve requests for payments from contractors and ensure that the work has been completed per the design documents / quality documents for all claims.
Process Change orders for management and get approvals before executing the change

Essential Job FunctionsResponsible for ensuring compliance to the DZ Safety Program and Quality Program.
Responsible for conducting all work within guidelines, policies, and ethical standards established by the company. Maintains all business records and reports properly and honestly, to protect company and client assets. Evaluates subordinates based on their commitment to the Codes of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct and acts as a role model.
Engages in field walkdowns of planned and ongoing Construction activities. Performs daily safety inspections of work areas. Daly monitor progress to assess status and resolve problems firsthand.
Keeps the project Construction Manager informed of changing field conditions and work progress.
Monitors scope, scope changes, budgets, and schedules to ensure work objectives are met.
Qualifications- Work experience with union building trades craft. (Need to provide experience in resume.) Card carrying member of a Building Trades Union
- Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) experience required
- Must be able to read, interpret and have working knowledge of the following:
- Project documents and specifications.
- Safety procedures
- Project change management
- Assist in the generation of Scopes of work, for subcontract documents.
- D&Z operating procedures.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $87,000 - $ 144,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
