Job Summary:

The Associate Chemist will support Hair Care Development and Styling initiatives by performing hands‑on formulation and laboratory activities. This role involves batching, stability testing, quality control analysis, and documentation while following established safety and laboratory procedures. The position is ideal for an early‑career scientist who is detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.

• Perform formulation work including batching, filling, and labeling samples
• Conduct stability studies and assist with formulation troubleshooting
• Submit samples and requests for microbiology, safety, and evaluation testing
• Maintain accurate lab records and documentation
• Compile ingredient information for internal review and reporting
• Perform quality control measurements and microscopic analysis
• Review and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and laboratory safety guidelines
• Operate small‑scale lab bench manufacturing kettles
• Perform light lifting of lab materials, including buckets and boxes (up to approximately 10 kg)

• Basic laboratory formulation and testing knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and laboratory protocols
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
