What you will doAs a Corporate Paralegal at GEP, you will play an important role in supporting GEP’s global legal operations by helping maintain the corporate governance framework behind the company’s worldwide entities. In this role, you will focus on managing corporate records, coordinating key legal documentation, and ensuring information across GEP’s global entity structure remains accurate, organized, and compliant, while supporting governance processes and legal operations that enable the business to operate efficiently across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain corporate governance records, including minute books and documentation for GEP’s global entities, while managing information within the company’s entity management system and centralized records repository.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of corporate documents related to entity formations, dissolutions, and other governance matters, including coordinating signatures, notarizations, and apostille requirements when necessary.
- Support contract and document management processes using tools such as SharePoint and Docu Sign, including organizing, digitizing, and maintaining corporate records to support document retention and compliance initiatives.
- Contribute to global legal projects and operational tasks such as maintaining lease documentation, organizing records, and supporting the legal team during high volume periods or key initiatives.
- Help ensure corporate records remain accurate and complete by entering entity information, tracking documentation, preparing compliance materials, and managing multiple priorities in an in-house corporate setting.
- 1 to 2 years of paralegal experience supporting corporate governance, ideally within a global corporation.
- Experience maintaining minute books, managing corporate documentation, and working with entity management systems. Experience with entity formations and dissolutions is helpful.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with SharePoint, Teams, or Docu Sign is helpful.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Certificate or degree from an ABA-approved Paralegal Studies program preferred. Candidates pursuing or holding a J.D. are not the intended fit for this role.
Location: Hybrid role with three days per week onsite in our Clark, NJ headquarters.
Salary Range: $50,000 – $56,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Additional Compensation: Eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.
