• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day, and opening the back door for deliveries.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions.
• Coach and assist other team members with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, inventory control, price changes, and returns.
• Register all related sales on the assigned cash register, including scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
• Assist manager or assistant store manager with reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, evaluating and developing displays, and completing resets and revisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts for basic departments, the stockroom, and overstock locations, and ensure compliance with the out‑date program.
• Ensure proper department pricing, daily price changes, and accurate signage; complete any additional pricing tasks related to local regulations or compliance programs.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment as required.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness, request repairs, and support exterior and interior maintenance.
• Assist with product placement and separation per policy, including FIFO rotation for consumables.
• Possess knowledge of store systems and equipment; serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating tasks and reporting disciplinary or complaint issues.
• Assist at the pharmacy window when requested.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcohol and tobacco.
• Conduct bag checks of team members before leaving the store and complete special assignments as assigned.

Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.

Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks when store management is absent, and report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Not required in Puerto Rico)

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered.
• Obtain and maintain a valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
