The Director of Product Management owns the end‑to‑end product strategy, execution and outcomes for the Sitefinity Content Management System (CMS) product line, with broader exposure to Digital Platforms, Digital Journeys and Customer Experience ecosystems.
This role operates at the intersection of strategy, execution and influence—balancing people leadership with hands‑on product ownership. The Director acts as both a product leader of leaders and as a senior individual contributor, capable of stepping deep into discovery, roadmap shaping and complex decision‑making when needed.
The role requires exceptional cross‑functional collaboration, strong organizational influence and the ability to align diverse stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience and Executive Leadership around a shared product vision and measurable business outcomes.
In this role, you will:Product Strategy & Vision
- Own and articulate a clear, compelling product vision and outcome‑driven product strategy, ensuring that product investments are continuously validated against measurable customer and business impact and align with company‑level objectives and digital platform direction.
- Drive an AI‑First product culture by actively probing emerging technologies, experimenting with new product ideas and identifying white‑space opportunities.
- Stay ahead of market and competitive shifts by continuously scanning the landscape, validating trends through rapid iteration and fostering a mindset of exploration, agility and responsible AI integration.
- Translate customer needs, market trends and business goals into prioritized roadmaps that balance innovation, scalability and revenue growth.
- Define and evolve the product’s role within the broader digital journey and experience ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with adjacent platforms and services.
- Establish and monitor success metrics (business, customer and product health KPIs) and use data to guide strategic decisions.
- Oversee end‑to‑end product lifecycle management—from discovery and validation through delivery, launch, adoption and iteration.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design leadership to ensure high‑quality, scalable and user‑centric solutions.
- Drive disciplined prioritization and trade‑off decisions, balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term platform sustainability.
- Act as a hands‑on product leader when required, leading discovery efforts, shaping PRDs, validating solutions and unblocking complex product challenges.
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to leaders across Engineering, UX, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Support.
- Align diverse stakeholders around shared goals, even in the presence of competing priorities.
- Represent Product Management in senior forums, contributing to portfolio‑level discussions, investment decisions and strategic planning.
- Act as a connector across teams and functions, ensuring clarity, transparency and shared accountability.
- Lead, coach and develop a highly engaged, motivated and empowered product team, where people feel ownership, purpose and pride in their work and are supported in their career growth.
- Create an environment of high accountability, psychological safety and continuous learning.
- Set clear expectations, provide actionable feedback and model strong product leadership behaviors.
