Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in NH requiring a Compact RN license and prior travel experience.
Responsibilities
• Work in the Emergency Department of a rural hospital setting
• Patient population includes trauma, burns, poisonings, emotional distress, heart attacks, injuries, sexual assault, and violence-related emergencies
• Facility features six treatment rooms, two trauma rooms, triage rooms, pediatrics and psych rooms, a private consultation room, and a specialized decontamination area
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the hospital
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted and must be included at time of application
• All scheduling requests must be made prior to offer; requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
• Emergency Department staff includes physicians, nurses, and paramedics trained for all emergency situations
• Modern amenities include privacy features and accommodations for family and friends
• First-time travelers will not be considered
Requirements
• Active NH or Compact RN license in hand at time of application
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department experience required
• At least 3 months previous travel experience required
• Experience in a rural or small facility required
• TNCC certification highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for assignment
