A well-established local commercial real estate firm is seeking an experienced and professional Commercial Property Manager to provide comprehensive oversight of a diverse commercial real estate portfolio. This is a long-term, career-oriented position for a motivated individual who takes true ownership of their portfolio and is committed to delivering exceptional service to both ownership and tenants.
The Property Manager will work closely with internal leasing, maintenance, and accounting teams to ensure efficient operations, strong tenant relations, and accurate reporting. This role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in both office and field environments.
QualificationsSuccessful candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics
, or a related field - 3–5 years of commercial property management experience (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills
- Working of Yardi Voyager or a comparable property management system (strongly preferred)
- Active California Department of Real Estate Salesperson License
- Provide day-to-day administration and oversight of assigned commercial properties, including ownership and tenant files, with thorough and accurate use ofn
- Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors, including routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency response (as directed by senior management when applicable)
- Manage tenant relations, including communication, issue resolution, lease administration, rule enforcement, notices, and rent reminders
- Assist with vendor procurement, scheduling, and performance oversight
- Conduct site inspections and perform necessary fieldwork to support property operations
- Collect and compile data to support rental surveys, market reports, and internal analysis
- Perform additional duties as reasonably required to support the successful operation of properties under management
- Assist with advertising, marketing, and promotion of properties, including flyers, online postings, and other marketing materials
- Prepare and process leases, amendments, addenda, and purchase contracts in draft and final form
- Support brokers during acquisition and disposition transactions, including assistance during escrow periods
- Coordinate property showings, schedule appointments, and collect and process application materials, including confidential credit screening
