We are seeking a passionate, service driven University Business Solutions Manager to lead sales and talent initiatives onsite at a large Southern California university.

About

the Role

The University Business Solutions Manager role blends sales and relationship management to deliver exceptional staffing solutions to our clients while building strong connections within the university community. You’ll be responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and hiring and placing talent in both short-term and full-time roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate sales through prospecting, cold calling, and networking with university stakeholders
  • Build and maintain a customer database focused on entry-level talent pipelines aligned with university colleges
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, candidates, and university personnel
  • Represent Roth Staffing’s culture, values, and services to clients and university partners
  • Attend university events and engage with students, professors, and administrators to build brand awareness
  • Skill-market candidates and negotiate business deals to meet weekly sales goals

What Do We Look For?
  • 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales or professional services environment
  • Experience with university career services programs and operations
  • Individuals with strong business acumen and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong cold-calling, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal and problem resolution skills
  • Individuals who live in decent proximity to Claremont, California
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Outlook required
  • Someone who is enthusiastic about creating remarkable experiences with coworkers, clients, and Ambassadors in line with our company purpose, promise and values

  • Bachelor’s degree or transferable experience
