Logistics Coordinator

Adient, a global leader in automotive seating, is looking for a YMS Coordinator to support yard operations, trailer flow, and material movement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is key to keeping production running smoothly through accurate inventory and efficient logistics coordination.

• Manage trailer flow and yard logistics using the Yard Management System (YMS).
• Coordinate with WOW forklift drivers to support production and warehouse needs.
• Create and execute hourly material replenishment orders
  .
• Track and control trailers using active barcodes and ERP/YMS systems.
• Maintain trailer inventory accuracy, including on-site and off-site scanning.
• Support cycle counts, physical inventories
  , and quality containment activities.
• Handle urgent part requests to ensure uninterrupted customer support.

• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, materials, warehouse, or automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with trailers, yard operations, and material handling
  .
• Knowledge of ERP / inventory systems (QAD a plus).
• Forklift experience required.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
