Pharmacy Technician - PRN

• Provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.
• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. 2.
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the Pharmacy department.
• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounds.
• Repackages bulk medications.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies.
• Triages incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  Currently registered as a pharmacy technician by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
• Active registration will be required prior to date of hire.

• High School diploma equivalency required.
